We experience life through our nervous system. Simply put, if our nervous system doesn’t work right, we don’t work right. And when we don’t work right, we’re not healthy!

We use technology to measure the condition of your nervous system.

Stethoscope for the Spine

The same part of your nervous system that controls your internal organs regulates the temperature of your skin. Our instrument measures differences as small as a tenth of a degree!

Nervous system compromise causes muscles along the spine to exhibit unusual electrical activity. Our equipment can detect differences as small as a millionth of a volt!

Your Nervous System Scan

The color printouts make it easy to quickly evaluate your problem and document your progress. The color printouts make it easy to quickly evaluate your problem—and document your progress.

After gowning, we’ll have you sit still for a moment or two. Then, starting at the base of your skull, we’ll run two probes down your back. Think of these as radio antennas listening for a distant station. That’s it. The computer does the rest!

This information, taken in concert with your health history and clinical findings, is useful in our assessment, and as an outcome assessment of the beneficial changes that result from chiropractic care. Patients receive a color printout of each examination, which increases their understanding of the overall balance of the nerve system.

Dr. Jeff Asks some important questions of interest to Dubuque residents - Chiropractor Dubuque Dr. Jeff Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Dubuque chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
